Tried this sauce on 4 slabs this weekend. The sauce tastes great right out of the bottle. However, if allowed to sit on the hot ribs for 15-20 minutes, it will lose alot of its flavor. You can still taste it but very lightly. But if you re-apply the sauce after you serve the ribs or have it on the table for folks to freshen up their ribs, it does taste good. Would not make a good competition sauce (in my opinion) due to losing most of its 'wow' factor over a short period of time.

We always use this sauce in our home. I like the habanero sauce even better. And if you happen to like your barbecue cooked slowly on a smoker (I can't imagine why you'd be reading this review if you didn't), you MUST go to the restaurant if you are ever in Syracuse or Rochester, NY. The sauce is really good, but the restaurant is unbeatable. Don't mind the bikers and saucy waitresses, the dinosaur barbecue is totally worth it. I recommend the 1/4 chicken with 1/4 rack of ribs combo.

Good review of a great sauce. I like to blend this sauce with just a little of Dinosaur habanero barbecue sauce for pulled pork shoulder. Fabulous. The Harley references are not overdone, either. Dinosaur restaurant in Syracuse is DEFINITELY a biker joint. But the food is altogether worth the risk of getting your ass kicked.
