Winners Announced:
1. Kayla
I live in a dorm, so I have to cook my BBQ a bit differently than the typical grillmaster. I would pressure cook my country pork ribs, then use the rub, and finish them off in foil in the oven to glaze on some sauce. YUM!
2. Judd Newcomb
I’d love to add a spice to my love of living my meat savoring life
3. Kevin Byrd
I want to be sexy and rub your rub all over my meat.
Two words: baby back ribs.
OK, so I’m not great at math. But…ribs.
Tom don’t feel bad, there are three kinds of people in the world those who can count and those who can’t 🙂
smoked me up some brisket
Bean starter? Hmm…
Beans, beans, the magical fruit
The more you eat, the more you toot
The more you toot, the better you feel
So let’s eat beans for every meal.
Sure looks great. The baked bean starter is very interesting!!
I would love to try the sauce and spice on some chicken.
That rub would go very well on my London Broil, and then to the grill. Grilled London Broil is divine, especially with a good rub and some butter.
I’d add a little love to my competition meats…can never have too much love
I would spice up my date night with “Love Spice” Mama would love it on her wieners (hot-links for all you perverts).
I have tried the Okie Steak House BBQ sauce and it is glorious. So, I am going to tell everyone I see at the 3rd Annual AZ BBQ Festival this weekend in Scottsdale how good the BBQ sauce is in hopes of winning some more!
Are you a member of Amazing Clubs “Sauce of the Month” club?
Well first I would do baked beans in ceramic crock pots on the Big Green Egg and while they where cooking I would marinade some chicken (for the boss) and some T-bones for me in the spice. After the beans are done would stuff the chicken with some cheese (motzarella) and wrap in bacon and then just before both the chicken and steak are done I would smother them in BBQ sauce.
Hmmm, love spice huh?? That sounds good!
Read the article in Southern Living. Would love to try some!
Good luck in winning but if not, just place an order! 🙂
With the list of ingredients in this rub, I’d have to rub my meat, and the meat I would be throwing in the smoker! };->
I’d love to add a spice to my love of living my meat savoring life 🙂
I can’t wait to put some of that Okie to good use on some beans and Beef!
It’s official. The June issue of Southern Living magazine is out so check out the article “Gettin’ Saucy: The South’s Best Barbecue Sauce.” SL’s food staff sampled almost 100 bottles of BBQ sauce and chose their top baker’s dozen. Okie Steak House rated as one of their top 13 sauces. Great recommendation to try the sauce, in my books! Check us out.
I would use the spice and sauce combo to smoke some baby back ribs on the weekend – and of course, you can’t smoke ribs w/o baked beans ( =
Franks and Beans! But this time, I will keep the franks on top of the beans!
Invite our Texas friends here and have a cookout …. On the “porch”
I’m not creative. ^insert some double entendre about Love spice rub, legs, thighs /^ …Afterwards, it goes on the chicken.
I would rub up a big ole’ pork butt and smoke that bad boy! The sweetness of this rub sounds different and delicious!!!!!!
now I know that my briskit won’t be rubed wrong because it will have plenty of LOVE RUB and along with a nice kettle of BAKED BEANS OH BOY I AM HUNGREY NOW
Beans, Brisket & Baby Backs Best cook out ever sauce looks good salty but also sweet & tangy with a Love Rub going on
Chicken wings – yummy!
I think I would try the rub either on some chicken or baby back ribs.
i’d love to rub my meat with it and then throw it on the girl, sorry mispelled i meant grill!!
Okie Doki let’s get smoken 🙂
With the summers first 3 day weekend coming up, and I would be useing the LOVE Spice for Living to rubed down some pork butts, to slow smoked. Take some Okie Bake Bean Starter and fresh pork fat and navy beans and bake for about 5 hours. Then ues the Okie BarBeQue Sauce with the pulled pork. MMMMMMMMM
I live in a dorm, so I have to cook my BBQ a bit differently than the typical grillmaster. I would pressure cook my country pork ribs, then use the rub, and finish them off in foil in the oven to glaze on some sauce. YUM!
I’d start by slathering a butt with some oil and then SLOWLY sprinkle some LOVE Spice all over – making sure that every nook and cranny was completely covered before smoking the butt until tender and finger lickin’ good! 🙂
Obviously perfection has been attained – the only adder necessary would be a 6 pack along with these Love items slowly smoked. Really can’t ask for more!
I’m proud to be an Okie from Muskogee
a place where even squares can cook some “Q”
When I put Okie love spice on my pork butt
Okie steak sauce makes it the greatest “Q” of all..
I want to be sexy and rub your rub all over my meat.
I prefer my meat hot and saucy so I’ll add sauce right before the meat has reached its climax of perfect doneness.
wow!I love to have those free sauces. By the look of it looks like going to be on my top best bbq sauces list!
