Guy Fieri rocks. Guy Fieri grew up in Humboldt County, California. He started his food career at age ten selling pretzels at local community events from a three-wheeled bicycle cartnamed “The Awesome Pretzel,” built with his father.

He co-owns five restaurants in California and is widely known for his television series on the Food Network. Guy has brought a new fresh look to Fodd Network’s lineup. He has introduced millions to the fantastic array of Triple D restaurants in this country.
Ok, I’m all about trying these sauces. Having been a chef for 13 years and a 5th generation BBQ fanatic for even longer, I make my own all the time and I’m my own worst critic even though others have raved about my sauces. Anytime I start up the smoker we always end up with more people than we initially invited… : ) And to accommodate, I always make Kansas City Style, Memphis Style Sweet, Georgia Mustard Style and of course North Carolina Piedmont Style, with a Goldsboro twist (the home of true NC BBQ and where my family originates) The mop sauce, brown sugar sauce and kansas city are my top three. I’ve 20 lbs. of back pork ribs marinating in my special brine right now…

Guy Fieri is my hero because his name reminds me of my first car — a Pontiac Fiero. The similarities don’t end with the name. The Fiero was wide and low to the ground. Guys were jealous of me driving down the street. I could go on.
