Buy a T-Shirt and Help Operation BBQ Relief

One of my all-time favorite charities is Operation BBQ Relief.  If you’re not familiar with the charity, they respond to natural disasters throughout the United States by providing BBQ meals to those affected by disasters.  The charity was formed in response to the massive tornado that struck Joplin, MO.  Competition BBQ teams from eight states descended on the area to serve over 120,000 meals in less than two weeks.

Operation BBQ Relief gets help from many different avenues — on-site volunteers, food and supply donations from businesses, cash donations, and partnerships.  One such partnership that is going on right now is with Sonny’s BBQ.  Through July 15th, you can purchase the shirt pictured above for $15.99, and a portion of the sale will be donated directly to Operation BBQ Relief.  For those of you who are “BBQ Medium”, XXL shirts are just a dollar extra.

We all know that we always need another BBQ shirt.  And this shirt, which made its debut at the Big Apple Barbecue Block Party this year, is a good lookin’ shirt.  So why not buy this one and help out an awesome cause?
